CHIEFS LAX is PROUD to announce
 Timmy Carroll
has committed to

Timmy Carroll, Cherokee High School – 2015, recently committed to Ursinus College Men's Lacrosse.  Ursinus College is a NCAA Division III program that competes in the highly competitive Centennial Conference.

Club affiliation: South Jersey Shamrocks
Lacrosse honors: 2014 All-Star selection (MVP Tournament), Top 205 All-Star selection, Cherokee Varsity Starter as Sophomore, Blue Chip 225 Elite Division

Academic honors: National Honor Society, Cherokee Student of the Month, Super Chief, Honor Roll all throughout high school

Intended major: Business/Economics
Why did you choose Ursinus? “Ursinus was the perfect fit for my family and me. The near location, outstanding academics, beautiful campus and successful lacrosse program were all appealing to me. Also, Coach (Jamie) Steele and Coach (David) Page have a clear vision of what it takes to build a winning program and I feel fortunate to be a part of it.

Thoughts on 2014 season and outlook for 2015: “The bond our team had this year was not only strong on the field, but even stronger off the field. We are all a family and the graduating class will be extremely missed. Our team this upcoming season is very determined because we have a lot of unfinished business to settle as we were upset in the playoffs this past season.

Other comments: “I can’t thank my family enough for supporting me throughout the entire process and the ability to manage both my lacrosse schedule and my sisters lacrosse and track schedules regardless of where we are along the East Coast. I would also like to thank all of my MRC youth coaches, Barlow, Wolf, Krug and Carroll; my high school coaches, Corelli, Niederberger, Epifano, Thorp, and Duncan; and my Shamrocks coaches, Keane and Picot. All these men have put an endless amount of time into making me the best player I can possibly be. Lastly, I would like to thank all of my teammates for pushing me to become the best I can be, and for the memories I’ve made on and off the field that will stay with me for the rest of my life.”
