ALLOCATION OF REGISTRATION COSTS......
We are extremely proud to say, that Chiefs Boys Lacrosse, has maintained our SAME registration fees for the last 3 years. We strive to keep costs down, while maintaining safety and exceeding the highest standard of Equipment and Coach Certification for our Volunteer Coaching Staff and the BEST possible experience for our Players.
We would like to take a moment and illustrate for you, where your LAX Registration Dollars GO.
ALL of our Teams are Travel Teams. There are no "in town" teams. For every team at every level, U7 through U15, ChiefsLacrosse incurs the costs of Uniforms, Practice Pinnies, Insurance, Equipment, Coach Education, Game Day Officials Fees, Tournament Fees, Team Parties, (and Trophies for U-7 and U9)
US LACROSSE CERTIFICATION:
We strongly believe in continuing education and making certain that our Coaches are educated on current US Lacrosse Rules at all levels. All Head Coaches are encouraged and compensated for the cost of becoming LEVEL ONE Certified and beyond!
We are grateful for our Amazing Coaches. Our program covers these costs to ensure our Coaches are at the top of their game and top of the tier on LAX IQ and Education.
This allows us to provide the very best experienced and educated Coaches for our program.

For every Registrant in our program (U7-U15) the MRC pulls $15 of that fee into the MRC General Fund. This fee contributes directly to the Overhead and Operation Costs of the Marlton Recreation Council. These overhead Costs include the Coaches Certification and Safety Class provided by the MRC, run by Mr. Bob Jurman; the online Concussion Certification; as well as Background Checks for all our Volunteers (Board Members and Coaches)
Annually we contribute $500 membership Fee to this Organization.
This Fee helps to offset costs of running the League, Game Scheduling Software, Game and Referee Assignment Costs and SJYLL end of Season Championship Tournament Scheduling.
We individually Insure EVERY player on the Field (U7- through U15) through US LACROSSE/Bolinger, at $25 each, we ALSO insure ALL 3 of our Game Day Coaches at $50 each. Insuring 3 coaches per team, starting with our U7 Teams and continuing straight through the top, to our U15 team, keeps our Program in Compliance with Us Lacrosse Standards and Exceeding MRC Requirements.
UNIFORMS and PRACTICE PINNIES:
Every player at EVERY LEVEL receives a Full Uniform and Practice Pinnie.
Chiefs Lacrosse meets all NOCSAE requirements as governed by US LACROSSE. We feel that if it is important enough to have NOCSAE Certified Game Day Balls for SAFETY as called for by US LAX, It is equally important to use these same balls on our Practice Fields. These balls cost, on average $2 a piece. When you consider the amount of teams we have, the number of lacrosse balls we use at every practice and on Gamedays.... and also the ones our players lose....This amounts to a hefty sum.

We provide Full Goalie Equipment and Pads to every team U7-U15 and Long Poles to U11-U15.
We also provide:
Nets, Goals, Field Lining, Pop Up Creases, Back Stops, Lacrosse Rebounders.
Port a Pottie Rental (bet you weren't thinking of that)
Light Tower Rentals for our Practice Fields.
Coaches Equipment Bags, Medical Kits, Helmet Repair Kits, ScoreBooks, Whistles, Cones, Ball Bags, Etc Etc. are provided to every Team/Coach.
We also maintain our practice facility which CHIEFS FOOTBALL GENEROUSLY shares with us, by voluntarily having topsoil and seed delivered, spread and applied by our Coaches and Chiefs Families.

Each and Every Team, U7 through U15, attend Lacrosse Tournaments every season.
ALL Teams participate in SJYLL End of Season Tournament and also in ADDITIONAL Tournaments outside of the SJYLL..
Tournament Fees Generally Vary from $400-$550 per Tournament and in some cases MORE.
Every Official at Every Game or Scrimmage is PAID. (Our Program Shares the Cost with the Opposing Team)
One official per game for the U7-U9 Teams
Two Officials per Game for the U11-U13-U15 Divisions
This also (additionally) applies to SJYLL Tournament Games.
Unfortunately, Registration Costs DO NOT in fact, cover the costs of "putting a player on the field".
This is why our FUNDRAISING Endeavors are CRITICAL to maintain our program at the standard of excellence our Players and CHIEFS Families have come to expect.
